Sheridan Road and going from noon to seven pm it'll be great, with food from several local businesses, guest speakers, and great attendee's at our local computer store, Quest Network Services, we really hope to see you there!

Unifying Rogers Park event

This upcoming Saturday, May 19th, 2012, is our annual Unifying Rogers Park event. Occurring from 12 noon -7 pm with samples from places like Hop Haus, Leona's, Charmers Cafe, Fish Keg, and Caribbean American Bakery, the food will be amazing and the people will be even better.

The event is occurring at 7301 N. Sheridan Road in Quest Network Services.

Taste of Rogers Park Committee Meeting

This upcoming Saturday, May 12th, is a monthly committee meeting for the first annual Taste of Rogers Park. The event, hosted and Quest Network Services (located at 7301 N. Sheridan Road) and starting at 5 pm, is one of many meetings occurring on the second and fourth Saturday of the month to help assist both board and committee members make the first annual Taste of Rogers Park a huge success! If you are interested in attending this meeting, or future meetings, please call to RSVP at (773) 850-0049 .

Help Us With Fresh Start Monday!

Fresh Start Monday's have been occurring the first and third Monday's since this April. The event has been a success, having a variety of people attend and even more express interest. 

So far, we've covered 7315 N. Sheridan Road, following that, we worked on Jarvis Plaza, this past Monday we worked on Ravenswood Center. Our next event will be May 21st at our standard 6pm. We will be working on Morse Plaza to benefit businesses like the Mayne Stage and others in the area.

If you can't make it out to the events for whatever reason, you can still help! We would gladly take donations for the event. Charmers Cafe, for example, gave us some trash bags to assist us in our endeavor. 

Some of the items we need are:

Dust Pan

Trash Bags

Aprons

Face Masks

Trash Can

Recycle Can

Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce would love to have new businesses in the area. So, today, we are posting photographs of local listings for anyone interested in moving their business into the area.

Third Fresh Start Monday Another Success!

Fresh Start Monday was another great success this Monday, May 7th. With several people in attendance, including two adorable young boys, it made for quite an event.

 This was our third event, located at Ravenswood Plaza on the corner of Ravenswood and Devon. We had received the recommendation to work on some store fronts on Devon, and so we did, cleaning up in front of the Dentist, Chicago Discount Cleaners and Laundry, Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Rogers Park Children's Center, Prairie Tabernacle Church, Kanji Insurance, Devon Auto Body and Repair Shop, and a storefront for Herbalife.

Hugh from Herbalife came out to greet us and invited us into his shop, telling us a bit about himself and his business, making those there feel very good about what they were doing.

 Our next Fresh Start Monday will be May 21st at our standard 6pm located at Morse Plaza. Join us in helping make our local businesses a fresher, cleaner, place. This week we picked up a rusted razor blade, several soda cans, tissues, q-tips, and plastic packaging.
