Fundraiser Goal Met!

The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that we will meet our goal of $2,000.00 raised and donated to the Tsering Dorjee Memorial Fund.



We met our goal thanks to those in our community showing a willingness to support their own, across the boundaries of family, ethnicity, or gender.

Rogers Parkers showed just why Rogers Park is a great community to live in, and that's why we, the Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce, are glad to call it our home.

Tsering Dorjee Fundraiser

The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting a small fundraiser tonight at A&T Grill for Tsering Dorjee's family to assist them through this hard time. Please come out, order some food, and make a donation. The event will be from 6-8pm.

Caribbean American Bakery has some of the most delicious meat patties I have ever tried. Michael, the owner, is one of the nicest men I have ever met, and all of the workers I've met are nice, friendly, and very efficient.

Vice President Tsering Dorjee

The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce is very saddened to announce the tragic passing of Tsering Dorjee,  Vice President to our Board. Tsering Dorjee was a family man, and left behind his wife and three children.

Tsering worked very hard to expand the Chamber's ability to breach cultural gaps and increase knowledge about traditions surrounding Devon Avenue.

Tsering was a great asset to our Board, Community, and touched the many people he left behind. He will not be forgotten.

V-Body Fitness

V-Body Fitness is a new business in town promoting core workout programming. For those who aren't sure what that means, the quickest explanation is that it's a cardiovascular workout that helps you improve agility, flexibility, and coordination.

Randy, the owner of V-Body Fitness, plans on putting some more work into the area. He plans to repaint the area and to place some turf grass towards the back door. With a smile on his face, he also mentions getting more equipment into the space that follows his current practices.

Lakeside Treasures is a beautiful shop filled with real treasures. It's layout is very neat and creative, allowing for movement. The owner, Betty, is very friendly, willing to answer questions and assist you in any way.

Lakeside Treasures is a must visit for all outsiders and Rogers Parkers', and a great place to look for gifts.

Christ Covenant Ministries is one of our newest members and they are a joy to see! The chamber attended their annual Revival as well as their weekly Sunday event! They were both beautiful events, so be sure to stop in one Sunday at 10 am!
